January 9, 2014. 2014 People’s Choice Awards aired on CBS (PeoplesChoice.com) last night with a smashing red carpet livestreaming and hosted by 2 Broke Girls co-stars Kat Dennings and Beth Behrs. The delightful duo bursted with chemistry.

The 2014 People’s Choice Awards was a polar vortex of celebrity attendees — only a whole lot warmer. Sandra Bullock, Justin Timberlake, Robert Downey Jr., Anna Faris, Nina Dobrev, Ian Somerhalder and Kaley Cuoco are just a small medley of the multitude of celebrities were on hand at this year’s award show.

Justin Timberlake: King of the People’s Choice Awards takes home three trophies! The versatile performer dominated this year’s show with his musical acumen nabbing three separate People’s Choice Awards for his work in the music industry. The Social Network star won the People’s Choice Award for Favorite Male Artist, Favorite R&B Artist and Favorite Album (The 20/20 Experience). After thanking his seatmate Ellen Degeneres for baking a “hell of a cookie,” Timberlake thanked his team, the fans and his beautiful wife, while also saving a special thanks for his parents. “I’d like to thank my parents for continuing to instill in me that no dream is too big.”

The Disney Channel discovery Demi Lovato is demonstrating her genuine talent and star appeal. Lovato garnered Favorite Female Artist and Favorite Music Fan Following awards!

People's Choice Awards Britney Spears celebrated her first ever People’s Choice Awards win with a special message for her fans. After accepting her award for Favorite Pop Artist at the show on Wednesday, Britney — who’s currently in the midst of a two-year Vegas residency — headed backstage to talk to PeoplesChoice.com about the support she’s received from her fans through the years and why it means so much to her.

January 8, 2014. After months of rumors and conjecture, it’s official: Coachella 2014 will be headlined by Arcade Fire, Muse and a reunited OutKast. News of rappers Big Boi and Andre 3000 coming together again as OutKast at Coachella was leaked late last year, with members of Muse strongly hinting that the band would be playing during a recent Radio.com interview.

Other highlights on the bill include rising alt-star Lorde, who’s currently vying for high-profile Grammy awards Record of the Year and Song of the Year for her breakout single, “Royals.”

EDM will again be well represented, with such superstar acts as Skrillex and Calvin Harris making the annual trek to Indio, CA, to rock Coachella’s extensively upgraded Sahara Tent with their body-moving beats.

Hard rock fans will also have ample opportunity to throw up devil horns, with sets from such heavyweights as Queens of the Stone Age and enduring metal legends Motorhead.

A clutch of artists on the festival’s 2014 under-card such as The Glitch Mob, Future Islands and Bonobo were subtly announced ahead of time via simple social network postings from official Coachella accounts.

Coachella 2014 is set for the weekends of April 12-14 and April 19-21, with this being the third year that the festival will be expanded to the dual weekend format.

While advance tickets are already sold out, a limited quantity of general admission weekend passes will go on sale this Friday, January 10, at 10 a.m. Consult the Coachella website for details and radio.com for more.

Ladies and Gentlemen they are back! THE ROLLING STONES have announced today that they will kick off their 14 ON FIRE tour with a very special one-off show in Abu Dhabi on 21 February 2014, before heading out on the road across the Far East and Asia to play three shows in Tokyo and a one-off show in Macau. The rock icons will then travel to Australia and New Zealand for one-off shows in Perth, Adelaide, Sydney, Melbourne, Hanging Rock, Brisbane and Auckland. A further two big concerts in Asia will be announced soon.

The 14 ON FIRE tour will see Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Charlie Watts and Ronnie Wood head back out on the road after a mammoth run of concerts in the U.S and the U.K in 2013, an exhilarating and critically acclaimed celebration of five decades of the Rolling Stones bringing their iconic music and groundbreaking stage shows to audiences around the globe.

Mick Taylor, who was a member of the Rolling Stones from 1969-1974, will be a special guest for this tour.

The stage design for the indoor concerts is based on the band’s ubiquitous tongue and lips logo, which extends out into the crowd, allowing the Stones to interact directly with their audience.  The exclusive ‘Tongue Pit’ GA Standing area inside the stage will give fans in this area an incomparable 360 degree concert experience.  Known for their ground-breaking sets and use of cutting-edge technology, the Stones’ set design will feature video screens and special effects that will enhance the high-octane experience of attending a live Stones’ show.

The band will treat their generations of fans to a set packed full of classic Stones hits such as “Gimme Shelter”, “Paint It Black”, “Jumping Jack Flash”, “Tumbling Dice” and “It’s Only Rock ‘N’ Roll”, plus a couple of unexpected cover versions.

January 7, 2014.As Adele‘s massive sophomore album 21 nears its three-year anniversary of unmitigated success and sales, it has broken yet another record. It has become the first album to ever sell three million digital copies.

Rolling Stone reports that Nielson SoundScan confirmed the news, and pointed out that it didn’t seem to be much of a surprise for those who were following the sale of 21 throughout 2013. 21 was the—ahem—21st top selling album of 2013, after reigning #1 in 2012 and 2011.

Of course “three million digital copies” is only a small percentage of how many copies 21 has actually sold, which is now somewhere well over 10 million, having been certified Diamond status in the U.S. in just 92 weeks, becoming only the—AHEM—21st record to sell over 10 million copies, as Rolling Stone reported.

Since Adele won her first Oscar in 2012 for the James Bond theme “Skyfall”, things have remained relatively quiet on her camp. Since giving birth to her son, she’s mainly been focused on, you know, child rearing not album writing.

“I’m not very far along at all,” said Adele at last year’s GRAMMY awards. “I’m having lots of meetings. I’ve been in L.A. the whole time since the Globes and I’ll be here till the Oscars. So I’m having lots of meetings, but I’ve been out of the loop, really. I’ve just been singing my baby nursery rhymes, so I don’t really know what’s cool and what’s not. I’m definitely going to visit with Paul Epworth and talk about doing that again.”  Read more on radio.com
